Salons in Canada is a discovery and information directory. It helps people find and compare salons, spas, barbers, nail salons, and beauty and wellness services across Canadian cities and provinces, and it helps salons present their business to the public. The directory is informational. It is not a marketplace and does not process transactions between users and salons.
Informational nature of listings
Salon listings are provided for general information. A listing may show factual business information such as a business name, address, phone, website, a short description, listed services or categories, working hours, a booking link, ratings, or a Google Maps link or embed when that information is available. Paid plans may add promotional media, richer profile options, and visibility features. The presence of a listing, or of a listed service, does not mean the salon currently offers that service, or that its prices, availability, or details are accurate at any given time.
No guarantee of accuracy
We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, or up to date. We do not guarantee service quality, pricing, availability, licensing, safety, or results. Information on the directory may be outdated, incomplete, or entered by the business or added as a starter directory entry. Users should verify important information — prices, availability, the exact service, hours, and policies — directly with the salon before booking or paying.
Inclusion is not endorsement
The presence of a salon in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or certification by Salons in Canada. We do not employ, represent, or endorse the beauty professionals or businesses listed. Salons in Canada is not the salon you visit, and is not a party to any appointment, consultation, or treatment.
Appointments, payments, and disputes
Salons in Canada does not process salon appointments directly. If a listing links to a booking page, that link goes to an external booking system run by the salon or a third party. Salons in Canada is not responsible for appointments, cancellations, refunds, deposits, treatments, products, injuries, disputes, or outcomes between you and a salon. Any booking, payment, or service issue must be resolved directly with the salon.
Listing-owner responsibility
Salon owners are responsible for the information they submit, including business details, services, descriptions, images, and links. Owners must have the authority to submit or claim a listing for the business, and they must keep their listing information accurate and lawful. Submitted information must not infringe third-party rights. Submissions may be reviewed, edited, rejected, suspended, or removed. We may also remove or adjust a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, unauthorised, or that violates these terms. We do not guarantee that any submission will be published or approved.
Plans and featured listings
Listings may appear differently depending on the selected plan. A free listing can show available factual business information and does not appear as an indexed salon profile page. Paid plans (Starter, Growth, and Featured) may add promotional media, richer profile options, an indexed salon profile page, and stronger directory visibility.
Featured placement is a paid visibility option — it means a listing can be shown more prominently in relevant city or service searches. Featured placement does not mean the salon is endorsed, certified, safer, or better than other salons. Payment for a plan does not influence the editorial content published elsewhere on the site.
No guarantee of results for owners
We do not guarantee traffic, enquiries, rankings, leads, customers, or revenue from any listing, plan, or featured placement. Listing performance depends on many factors outside our control, including the salon's details, its location and services, and market conditions.
Informational content
Salons in Canada also publishes informational content such as beauty guides, service explanations, and pricing research. This content is general in nature and is not personalised advice. Prices mentioned in articles may change, vary by provider and region, and should be confirmed directly with the relevant salon. Where a health or suitability concern arises, readers should consult a qualified professional.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the website lawfully and in good faith. You will not misuse the directory, its forms, or its systems.
Prohibited use
The following are not permitted:
- Submitting false, misleading, or unauthorised salon information, including listing a business you do not have the right to represent.
- Impersonating another person, business, or owner.

Listing owners remain responsible for the logos, images, descriptions, and business information they submit, and they must have the rights to use that material. Salons in Canada does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks or logos that appear on salon listings.
Reporting inaccurate or unauthorised listings
